Ghongadi is a natural, woollen fibre that is both renewable and sustainable. It’s an eco-friendly and natural material. It helps to prevent earthing and passing of our energies to the ground below. It is our modern version of the animal skin usually seen below Lord Shiva in His meditation posture.
We procure our ghonghadi from tribals and shepherds in Southern Maharashtra who obtain the fibres with absolute love and weave it themselves into a handloom fabric.
